Below is the list of pre-requisites you will need before you resume your journey here in India.
1. PMR Number.
This is the number issued to you when you receive your initial class 2 medical assessment. In order to get your medical assessment, you must create an account on eGCA and follow the steps as mentioned there.
2. eGCA ID.
All the aviation services are available on this platform. Once you create your ID on https://dgca.gov.in/digigov-portal/ you will be able to access the services such as applying for you medical assessment, Issuance of your Licenses etc.
3. The Verification Letter.
The verification letter must be obtained from your respective board of education. This letter cannot be given directly to you and will only be issued if third-party requests it. E.g the flight school you wish to enrol from. The verification letter is very important and will be needed at several stages of your journey towards obtaining your CPL.
4. Computer Number.
This number is mandatory for you to give any of your exams. To apply for this, simply follow the instructions given on https://pariksha.dgca.gov.in/. Once you receive your computer number, you will be able to apply for the DGCA Exams for which we at AvianAirspace will coach you.
5. Flying Requirements.
Pilots converting their foreign license to an Indian CPL must undergo the flight tests in India. The hours for the flight tests in India are counted towards the recency requirements when applying for your license. Check the link below to know the requirements.
6. Duration & Course Fee. 1 month & ₹4 lakh onwards *
*Duration and course fee vary depending on prevailing weather and individual performance.
7. Duration of DGCA conversion ground classes hosted by us - 3 months
*Please note: If you have finished the individual DGCA exams for Nav and Met before you obtained your foreign license, the exams will be valid. If you are attempting the DGCA exams after you have received a foreign license, the composite exam is mandatory.*
